RICE WEEVILS

Appearance:
The adults are about 2 mm long. Their body color appears to be a brownish black color.

Behavior:
The rice weevil is a serious stored product pest. Rice weevils are known for attacking several economically important crops, including wheat, rice, and maize. Despite their threat to crops they have been found to be medically harmless

Habitat:
Rice weevils can be found inside of any stored grain product. They are also capable of infesting grains in fields.
